Last updated: October 4, 2026. This Policy explains what information is processed when you visit or use Varon, why it is processed and the choices and rights that may be available to you.
Controller/operator: [OPERATOR'S FULL LEGAL NAME], [POSTAL ADDRESS]. Privacy contact: [email protected]. The operator's legal name and postal address must be completed before publication.
This Policy covers Varon's website and link-resolution service. The operator named above is responsible for deciding how and why personal data is processed by Varon (the “controller” where that term applies). Third-party providers that receive data may act under their own privacy terms and may separately determine how they process it.
We process information to provide the requested resolution, operate the site, display aggregate counts, prevent abuse, enforce request limits, protect the service and respond to legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the operator must identify and document the applicable basis for its jurisdiction. Depending on the context, this may include providing a service you request, legitimate interests in security and operation, consent where required or compliance with a legal obligation. Do not rely on this general description as a substitute for the operator's jurisdiction-specific assessment.
Varon's reviewed application code does not include an advertising tracker or analytics service. The operator does not use the application statistics counter to build a user profile or sell submitted URLs. This does not describe independent processing by infrastructure or third-party providers.
The application does not write submitted URLs to its statistics file or maintain a permanent URL history. URLs are processed to answer the request and are forwarded to the resolver. Temporary in-memory abuse controls use IP addresses and URL-derived hashes; these are volatile operational data, not a promise of a specific deletion deadline. The application keeps successful-resolution totals and daily totals in its statistics file without URL-level entries. The hosting provider and resolver may create separate logs or retain data under their own policies. The operator must confirm actual provider retention periods and document a retention schedule before publication.
The operator, host, resolver, Google or external-link providers may process data in countries other than yours. The locations and transfer safeguards depend on the providers and hosting configuration actually used. Where required, the operator must provide the legally required transfer mechanism and information. Confirm the current locations and safeguards before publication.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures should be used to protect the service and its data. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure. Do not submit secrets or sensitive information through Varon. The operator should document its actual security measures and incident procedures; this Policy does not certify a particular security level.
Depending on your location and circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict personal data; object to certain processing; request data portability; withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis; or complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights are subject to legal limits and may not apply to every type of operational data.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected] and include enough information for the operator to understand and respond to it. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive data. The operator will respond within the time limits that apply to the requester's jurisdiction.
Varon is not intended to solicit personal data from children. The service does not knowingly create child accounts. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact [email protected] so the operator can assess the request under applicable law. Age-related requirements vary by country.
The Varon front-end does not set first-party cookies in the reviewed code. It uses browser local storage to remember the Auto-open result preference after you change that setting. Browser storage and third-party font requests are explained in the Cookies Policy.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the service, providers or legal requirements. The revised date will appear at the top. Where law requires notice or consent for a material change, the operator will follow that requirement.
